About me
Lisa Nagle
Founder/Owner
Hi, my name's Lisa. I am the founder and owner of NAGLES Therapy. I am the mother of four wonderful children and have worked with children, young people and families for over 18 years.
I started my career at Sense College as a Personal Assistant to the Executive Principal, working daily with young adults who had a range of learning and deaf-blind needs. I then took the decision to move into mainstream primary schools, working as an Assistant SENCo to develop my knowledge of SEND and the Early Help pathway. During this time, I became an Acting SENCo for 2 years and supported the school to achieve a good Ofsted inspection (2021). In their inspection, Ofsted stated "Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) succeed due to the ambitious curriculum, and staff knowing the pupils well. Teachers make sure their needs are identified quickly, and additional support is given when required. Parents were overwhelmingly positive about the help their children receive when they need more support."
Over the years, I have developed my knowledge in order to support the ever growing needs of children. This included engaging in a variety of therapeutic courses and Local Authority training:
-
Drawing and Talking
-
Construction Therapy
-
Play and Art Therapy
-
Trained Emotional Literacy Support Assistant
